after redoing sable's faceup, i thought maybe a new wig would suit her. so, i pulled out some yarn and set to work.
i had an idea that i might be able to blend two yarn colors together for a wig. it kind (?) of worked but it wasn't a seamless blend. instead of a neutral, blended color, i wound up with a chunky 00's christina aguilera-type highlighted look. it's not bad, just not what i was going for.
every time i straightened the wefts i kept seeing madison (my scene)'s hair and i don't know why.
it's probably because my madison doll (who's withering away in garage storage) is the only playline doll i've done a reroot on?
the end result! it's not perfect but i'm getting the hang of how to lay the wefts better. i think next time i make a wig i want to try a fun color or figure out how to blend the yarn strands better.
